The first weekend in February marks the beginning of the biking season for many bicyclists from Iowa and beyond. The Bike Ride to Rippey is an annual event of the Perry Chamber of Commerce.
Rippey cooks have been preparing and will be ready on Saturday, Feb. 3, to welcome these hardy and hungry riders with the roast beef sundaes and more, served by the Rippey Lions Club at the Community Building.
The Rippey United Methodist Church and the Rippey Baseball Commission will serve a baked potato bar with various toppings, dessert and beverages. Serving will begin at 10 am in both places.
“Join us for the BRR Ride in Rippey! It’s a great event to enjoy a good meal and meet some interesting people,” a spokesperson said.
